In just a little over three months, I will be beginning my journey to a destination half-way around the world. I will be going to Cotonou, Benin and it's time for me to start making some headway with my fundraising. Like many of us, I have been following with concern the outbreak of Ebola in West Africa. Not only has it affected the citizens of these countries, but humanitarian organizations are more cautious in giving clearance to their volunteers to work in these countries. Mercy Ship has been redirected from Congo to Benin and the Ebola outbreak is being monitored closely.
